Every month, fellow Remote Laura Pounds puts together a highlight reel from everybody's photos and videos. Check out the reel from London:
Nothing new to report here, we all know that London is a beautiful city.
Morning Gloryville rave
A beach-themed rave at 6:30am, completely sober. What a crazy experience. I was able to check an item off my bucket list: be able to comfortably dance without any drinks. The energy was so great and everybody was dancing, so it was surprisingly easy to get in the mood. Instead of alcohol they served coffee and fresh juice.
Huge festival on the east end of London. We had a great crew and an epic day. The highlight of the festival for me was ODESZA.
A day trip outside of London. We took the train across the country and spent the exploring this charming little city.
I don't even know how I'd explain this show, you'll just have to watch the video below.
Another day trip outside of the city. We got our Hogwarts on, "punted", and drank beers at a bar established in 1242. Let that sit in for a second... that bar has been open for roughly 500 years longer than the USA has been a country!
Every month another fellow Remote creates a short film about the city using people from our group as actors. I was one of the actors in this months film. I'll update this when it's released in a few weeks!
The coolest exhibit I've ever seen. The exhibit features the insect photography of Levon Biss, a groundbreaking photographic exhibition of Science and Art. To truly appreciate it, make sure to watch the video below.
Yep, these rocks are old. Roughly 4000 - 5000 years old actually.
For our closing party we rented a boat with a DJ and cruised the river for a few hours.
V&A Friday Late
Several museums in London have what they call a "Friday Late". One Friday each month the museum will stay open late, have a bar, and put on performances and DJs around the museums.
