This month we're living in The Collective, a co-living building in London. What's co-living? It's basically a fancy term for tiny-ass apartments. However, they're tiny for a purpose - to build community.
The building is 10 floors high, and every floor has a large community kitchen, as well as another shared space unique to each floor. You room being a little small means you'll be spending more time in these shared spaces with other members of the community. Some of the spaces include a game room, cinema room, library, laundry room, etc.
Unfortunately, while the building is amazing, the location is awful compared to the other places we've stayed. It was about a 45 minute commute to the city center, which made something as simple as a quick dinner impossible, turning it into a 4-hour ordeal.
