Since 2018 I’ve been working as a Director of Design at Chassi, a software startup in downtown Phoenix. I also provide supporting product design at Journeyage, have held prominent positions at Truce and Hopscratch, and worked as a freelance designer for eight years.
📸 Animal photography
I’ve forever held a deep fascination with the natural world, and even have a fair-sized collection of exotic pets. At the moment I’m often working on macro photography of herps and inverts, and I hope to continue to increase the scope of my work with animals in the future.

It’s not often, but sometimes I get the urge to sit down with a pen or pencil and draw something related to my interests. And, even less often, I decide to take some photos and share it with the world on Instagram.
🌿 Vivarium Collective
I enjoy constructing expansive planted enclosures for exotic pets, ensuring they enjoy a high quality of life, as well at teaching others how to do the same. It’s a great combination of my passions for design, plants, and animals.
📓 Carlos on Roosevelt
A single-issue zine, and a glimpse into the mind of a man that may appear to have less than most (he’s homeless). Surprisingly, he finds happiness and riches where most would find despair.
🌏 Remote Year
I journaled extensively about my year abroad with Remote Year, and what a year it was. I recommend checking out this program, as it offers a great way to travel the world while working remotely.
🚊 Find My Train
FMT is a self-initiated project and a winner at Startup Weekend Phoenix. We took 2nd place and $15,000 worth of prizes—including an eight-week course at ASU's Rapid Startup School.
📘 App guidebook
A guidebook that is designed to be both a step-by-step guide to creating new apps, as well as a reference guide to use at any particular step if you already have an app underway.
