Vienna was a quick side trip from Prague. If I remember correctly it was about a 5 hour bus ride and only cost about $15 each way. June and I took the bus on Friday evening, met up with a couple friends to explore and party, and were home by Sunday evening.
"Vienna, Austria’s capital, lies in the country’s east on the Danube River. Its artistic and intellectual legacy was shaped by residents including Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud. The city is also known for its Imperial palaces, including Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence. In the MuseumsQuartier district, historic and contemporary buildings display works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and other artists." - Wikipedia
One of my favorite parts of the city - crossings that showed mixed gender relationships. Girl/girl, guy/guy, and guy/girl. An amazing outward expression of their support for all types of love!
Lastly, a really neat video showcasing the beautiful scenery around Vienna.
